Hello everyone!

It's been a while since I updated my journal (and everything else..). Oh well, I didn't have much to talk about.

Dublin is so moody! weather changes so fast! Skies can covered with dark clouds in the morning, clear and blue in the afternoon, and full of rainy clouds at night! Summer doesn't really happen in this country though! We're always wearing jackets and expecting rain at any moment. It's nice, better than Saudi's 50-degree days, but still not perfect for photography!

I'm thinking of adding stuff to my blog, but I'm not sure what exactly to add :-| Do you think it would be a good idea to add video casts (video recording) of my post-processing sessions? I just had this idea and I think it would be more useful than just adding Lightroom presets.

Plus I'm thinking of changing the design of the blog..I don't like it at ALL! I searched for "photography blog" themes before but I didn't find any that look nice. Any of you has a good example of a nicely designed blog? :)

Hello everyone!

At last!! I'm in dublin, I'v been waiting a lot for this moment! I'm SO glad that the hotel I'm in offers wireless connectivity so I can stay in touch with everyone (I miss you guys already :D)

Thank you so much for the sweet comments I got in the last journal. I never imagined that I have this huge base of friends over here :)

My trip was so tiring! it took me around 15 hours (with 4 hours of transit in Frankfurt). I was about to miss my flight because of the time difference :S thank god I looked at the airport's clock 20 mins before they close the gate!

Anyway, regarding photography, I assure you that you'll see some REAL art now insha'allah :) There are too many pretty things around me that locals don't notice (because they're used to it)!

oh I bought Saudi dates with me, but I dont have laban!! (or anything else to drink...) and I'm so hungrryy!

anyways, I'll try to get some sleep now (it's 3:00 am!)

thanks again for your support :rose:

Moving to Dublin, Ireland

Hello everyone :)

Well yeah, I got a job in Dublin, Ireland and I'm leaving Saudi Arabia very soon..
I must say that I will surely miss Saudi...I had a very hard time studying this option because it's not easy to leave my friends, family and the lovely Saudi culture.

Being part of this wonderful online community helped me make my decision! After all I spend most of my time online, and fortunately I won't be missing this in Dublin :D

Most of you know that I visited Dublin almost 2 months ago; it was for the job interview. I must say that I had a very good feeling about Dublin! People are very nice and helpful. It seemed like a safe city that I used to walk around at 2:00 am in the morning! (which was a very stupid thing to do! Walking around after 11:00 pm isn't a wise thing to do in big cities)

Anyways, wish me luck :)

30 Hornets VS 30,000 Bees (New clip)

Enjoy the clip!

Update: "Maroon" said that bees should have a better defense system. The following clip shows you how Japanese bees deal with a hornet when it enters their premises!

-----> [link] <-----

What happens is the following:
Japanese bees kill hornets by surrounding them and flapping their wings and vibrating their muscles. They make the temperature inside 45 Celsius, and this kills the attacking hornet!
(bees die at 48 Celsius!!)
